Hi I am after some advice, my old Worcester bosch 240 of needs a new gas valve currently has a Honeywell v4600n 3061. having trouble finding one as obsolete on most sites. however found a couple a v4600n 2022 which looks identical just wondering if the gas valves are interchangeable.

Hello and a warm welcome to the forum
Offically you have to use the correct gas valve, unofficially you used to be able to swap the components you needed, such as solenoid or modureg from another unit. This was stopped a few years ago due to breaking a gas seal made in the factory of production of the unit.

Thanks
