Potterton Performa 24i HE Combi

Postby QCAR » Tue Sep 19, 2017 6:47 pm

Hi

I was wondering if someone has come across this problem before, when you turn the shower on there is hot water for a few seconds then it goes cold and not telling the boiler that it needs hot water, but when you turn the tap on at the basin and wait for that to heat up switch it back of the shower will run with hot water fine the hole time until you switch the shower off again and try it again it it won't produce hot water except if you turn the the basin tap on again and close it and will work fine the hole time again.

Thanks.

Hello
It could be the hot water diaphragm that is perished. It could also be the microswitch faulty.
Thanks
